As a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), I am licensed with the CRPO and currently in private supervised practice. Since 2018, I’ve supported clients as a certified professional coach (PCC) and mindfulness meditation teacher.
I have a background in healthcare, as a former Chiropractor. I have training and experience working with clients navigating various concerns, including (but not limited to) depression, anxiety, anger, trauma and PTSD, challenging family and relationship dynamics, ADHD and neurodiversity, job loss or workplace stress, hormonal-related mood changes, fertility challenges, chronic pain, complex health challenges, anti-semitism and intergenerational trauma. Therapy with me is a collaborative process that provides a supportive space to slow down, notice how you feel, gain clarity about what patterns might be keeping you stuck, and begin to implement shifts in your life to create meaningful change.
I am a dedicated meditation practitioner/student, trained in insight and Vipassana practices as well as the Bramavahara meditation practices. I welcome clients who are facing challenges in integrating retreat experiences and meditation practice with the stress of life, meditators who are finding that their practice has become “flat”, boring, or challenging and meditators who are experiencing a lot of doubt about their ability to practice correctly.
I provide a collaborative space to discover what “feeling better” means to you, and I provide support to guide you in taking small, practical steps toward achieving your therapeutic goals.

My training is grounded in mindfulness and somatic-based therapies that are neuro-inclusive and trauma-sensitive. While I draw from a variety of therapeutic approaches, I work closely with you to tailor therapy to meet your specific needs.
During our sessions, we won't "just talk"; we will use your experiences and challenges to begin experimenting with new ways of thinking and acting, and in time, you will feel more confident and empowered to carry these changes forward - one small step at a time.
I hold a doctorate degree in Chiropractic from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College and a Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology from the University of Toronto. I have training in a number of modalities that are trauma-sensitive and inclusive for neurodivergence, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Focusing-Oriented Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Compassion-Focused Therapy, and Integrative Somatic Trauma Approaches.

Mindfulness is a way of paying attention with an attitude of curiosity and non-judgment.
While mindfulness is often linked to meditation practice, in a therapeutic setting, mindfulness is a skill that can be developed with ongoing practice. It has many psychological benefits that can help you to:
Regulate your emotions
Take a wider perspective during challenging times.
Recognize and understand patterns (of thinking and acting) that may be keeping you stuck.
Develop an attitude of kindness and compassion to yourself and others during hard moments.
Feel more open and connected to others and to what really matters
Discover the values that can guide you toward a more meaningful life.

Somatic therapy focuses on the connection between your mind and body. It helps you notice the connection between thoughts, physical sensations, body movements, breath patterns and patterns of muscle tension to illuminate how emotions and stress show up physically.
Somatic approaches incorporate talk therapy with body-based experiments that are designed to develop insight into patterns of repetitive protective responses, support gentle ways to release tension and restore a sense of safety and ease in your nervous system.
By paying attention to your body’s unique way of responding to stress, you can build greater self-awareness and develop tools and strategies for emotional regulation for different emotional challenges so that you can engage in your life more fully.
Over time the connection between the mind and body grows and so does your capacity to take care of and support yourself during challenging times.

It depends on your individual plan. Many healthcare insurance providers cover the services of a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying). I recommend checking your benefits plan to determine if you have coverage for my psychotherapy services, to understand what your plan covers before starting therapy. I provide a detailed receipt that can be submitted directly to your insurance provider for reimbursement.
-
I require at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule your session. If you cancel within 24 hours or miss your appointment time, you will be charged the full session fee.
-
I accept credit card as payment and require a valid credit card on file at all times.
I do not do direct billing for insurance. I issue receipts for services as soon as payment is received, and these receipts can be submitted by you to get insurance reimbursement.

All you need to book a consultation is to provide your name and email.
Consultations are approximately 20-30 minutes and are done virtually.
Consultations are an opportunity for you to provide an overview of the type of support you are looking for and for you to get a sense of my approach and how I might be able to help. These meetings provide an opportunity for both of us to determine if it feels like a right fit to move forward to work together.
-
There are various ways to get in touch with me:
To book an initial free consultation, you can contact me directly through my website, or you can email me directly.
To Book Online: You can access my schedule and book an appointment online. In order to reserve a spot, you will be required to have a credit card on file. You will not be charged for an initial consultation.
